How does it work?
Controlling your mouse with MouseCage is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3 !
- MouseCage (patent pending) displays a special Guide cursor on screen that shows your actual hand movements. The Windows cursor responds to this motion and automatically predicts where you intend to click.
- When you are near or on target, press the special Cage key and your mouse is 'caged'. The Guide cursor turns red and cursor motion is greatly reduced for accurate clicking.
- If you wish, you can press the Cage key a second time to 'lock' your mouse and stop all cursor motion. Now you can click in absolute confidence, and in your own time.
By default the Cage key is the Esc key on your keyboard, but you can change it to a mouse button or another keyboard key (see the MouseCage user manual.)
To quit MouseCage at any time just press F12.
Additional features:
- MouseCage automatically detects when a user is tremoring. If there is no tremor, the mouse works normally. This is ideal if your tremor is intermittent, or a non-tremoring user is at the computer.
- MouseCage is able to prevent accidental clicks.
- MouseCage doesn't interfere with Windows MouseKeys - you can use them alongside each other.
- It is superb for surfing the net and hitting all those difficult links, so we have included several keyboard shortcuts to help your browsing experience.
- It is adjustable to suit your individual needs via a simple settings menu.
